Hi everyone,

There's going to be another Senate Inquiry into ParentsNext. This is a smaller Inquiry than last time and it's to see if the ParentsNext participation requirements are legal as per Australia's obligations to certain UN Conventions.

Anyone can write to the Inquiry and say how they feel about the program. It doesn't have to be fancy writing. You can just say how you experience the program. You don't need to address any of the formal points, just write about how ParentsNext affects your life.
The other thing you can do is give a recommendation.. for example that you think ParentsNext should be scrapped, or made voluntary etc.

If you're worried about being anonymous you can ask the Inquiry to keep your submission private.

Please don't think "other people will make submissions"- we need lots of people to give their opinion and yours is just as important as anyone else.

We only have until the 4th May- so time is short.

If you'd like to make a submission you can just email it to:
human.rights@aph.gov.au

OR go to the formal portal:

https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Committees/Joint/Human_Rights/ParentsNext

I hope you will join us on this fight against this ridiculous program..

Parenting is work!

Ella.
