Constitutional recognition of the first Australians is critical to the emotional wellbeing of the Australian nation. To see flown at important events in this country that wonderful Aboriginal flag and its exotic Australian colours, often alongside the existing Australian flag with its union jack embedded in its corner, as if to reinforce the past wrongdoings of white settlement, implicitly divides this great country serving only to further inflame race relations.
