In the recent months we have heard and seen the families affected by the fires. 3 million acres of land in New South Wales, and hundreds of homes in Cuddley Creeky. While many people were battling for their homes, thousand of fires fighters risking their lives and a thick smog covering cities. What remains a mystery is how the Australian government can be “blind” and “silent” to nature crying out for change. What was lost in these fires were more than just homes, it was businesses and forest with important bush land animals. And yet the reason why the politicians choose to ignore these cries of nature are due to the fact they are making billions from their coal policies. We need change in these policies for the sake of the nation! We petition for 

1) increase renewable plans at a greater rate over the next 20 years- long term plans and solutions

2) financial support for the volunteer fires fighters while they risk their lives for the rest of the country, which includes tax exemptions

3) better financial aid for homes and businesses affected by the fire

4) state governments to create opportunities for society to give ideas to tackle this issue.

5) stop lying to the community that climate change doesn’t exist. Wake up and smell the air!
