Hi all, many thanks for all your support.

Last week the ACCC invited me for an interview regarding the fake florists and Google complaints. An appointment has been made for Wednesday 19 May. I will post an update on the outcome.

The petition was commenced on 16 April 2021 and so far florist businesses from the following regions have been invited to support the petition:
• Sunshine Coast QLD and south to Redcliffe
• Gold Coast QLD
• Townsville QLD
• Central Coast NSW
• Canberra ACT
• Newcastle NSW
• Wollongong NSW
• Toowoomba QLD
• Ipswich QLD

As of today 376 persons have signed (who might not all be florists) and in view of the ACCC meeting it would be great if anyone who has not written their own reason for signing could tell your own story in the comments section.

Florists located in Brisbane and most of Greater Brisbane, and in the rest of Australia including all of Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Tasmania, ARE YET to be invited for support, so in fact only a small proportion of Australian florist businesses have been invited to respond so far.

It is quite time consuming collecting emails from Google florist listings and it's unhelpful that Petals websites have no email or form contacts. If anyone has a list of florist emails (or any other info), it would be greatly appreciated for it to be sent to me at gordon@getmail.com.au. Identity of the sender would be kept strictly confidential.
