I am starting this petition to call for the sacking of Catherine Deveny, the ABC employed so-called comedian over her disrespectful and disgusting comments regarding ANZAC DAY!

Deveny has publically stated she considers ANZAC DAY to be "BOGAN HALLOWEEN".

This is shameful, disgusting, and highly disrespectful to all those who have served and continue to serve in the ADF. ANZAC DAY is a solemn day of reflection where the nation shows appreciation for those that have served and those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

A day young veterans get to commemorate the loss of their brothers and sisters!

Her comments are potentially very damaging to those veterans who are struggling to keep it together due to the impacts of their service.

This is the type of comment that could push a struggling veteran over the edge and take their own life, we need to show our veterans support not belittle their service and the sacrifice of the mates with ridiculous and shameful comments such as Deveny's.

SHAME ON HER, TIME TO ACT, SIGN THIS PETITION AND LET'S GIVE HER A LESSON IN RESPECT, CALL FOR HER TO BE SACKED FROM THE ABC.
