I would like to see all fixed amount loans, including Car,  Personal, House,  and all others where the amount received is a fixed amount, to have a fixed rate of interest over the duration of the loan. 

The Variable rate loabs that are currently on most home loans really only benefit the financial institutions, and with their ability to change their interest rates independent of the Reserve Bank this to me seems unfair. 

A person should not be charged more for something they have already purchased, just because a company wants more money. 

All fixed term loans must be fixed rate loans for the term of the loan
