For too long Huntly has been without a home postal delivery service and with the new estates going up and current ones expanding it's time to step up and offer one of the most basic services, estates like viewpoint are only getting bigger and the demand for a home postal service is high and well overdue.

Residents currently have to make a trip to the post office every day if they wish to see if they have mail, costing them time and fuel if they drive, as well as they have to check it within opening hours, and with most people working 9 to 5 this makes it hard, or you have the option to check it at any time you wish and receive an email when you do have mail If you pay for it!, this is at a discounted rate but it's about $45 to set up and then a yearly fee to keep it.

All i ask as a resident of Huntly is that a basic home delivery service be set up rather than have us all make constant trips to the post office just to check the mail.
