Table Top residents are not receiving parcel delivery to their roadside mailboxes. Instead, they receive a card notification and need to travel to the Lavington Post Office to collect their parcel. Either the sender or Table Top resident has paid for postage to the Table Top address, and yet are not receiving the service they have paid for. Table Top residents then incur additional motor vehicle expenses as they make the approx 26km return journey to Lavington to collect their parcel. If using the ATO vehicle expense rate of 68c per km to calculate the additional cost, this adds $17.68 to the postage cost already paid. 

The only way to get parcel delivery in Table Top is to demonstrate to Australia Post that demand exists for this service, which will prompt a review of the current service.
