On September 20th from 11:30 you will have a chance to come to Sydney Town Hall and help us educate the wider public about Live Animal Export.

Even though Anthony Albanese has legislated the end of Live Sheep Export (1/05/2028), Australian sheep still suffer as do SO MANY other Australian animals, under the Live Animal Export banner.

Australia exports Buffalo, Dairy Cows, Goats, Alpacas and Beef Cattle. These animals are much bigger and heavier than sheep so the way in which they’re handled is far worse than that of a smaller animal.

For a slaughter man to be able to cut the throat of a Buffalo, a Cow, Alpaca or bigger animal, they will either hit the animal on the head with a sledgehammer, often numerous times to render it unconscious, then slit its throat. Other options include slashing the leg tendons, so the pain makes the animal drop to the floor, unable to thrash, then they slit its throat.

Once an animal leaves Australia, it no longer comes under Australian welfare legislation, that’s why it’s so important that you and I do everything we possibly can to get Anthony Albanese to end ALL Live Animal Export, not JUST the Live Sheep Export trade.

I understand not everyone can make it to Sydney th on the 20th of September at 11:30ambut I’m offering people the opportunity to receive FREE stickers you can put out and about to help us educate others.

I do have to apologise that I have not being doing as much for Live Animal Export lately, I am also fighting for better rights for my Down Syndrome sister in law and my own health has been suffering. My husband and I are having a much needed holiday from November until February, once I’m back I will be focusing all of my time and effort into ending ALL Live Animal Export.

So PLEASE do not give up on the animals or myself, we need to do whatever we can to educate the Australian public about Live Animal Export.
