Despite the success of this petition and the public outcry, Bruce Pascoe hasn't be held accountable for the lack of evidence supporting his book, Dark Emu. He hasn't stepped down from his professorship at the Melbourne university, and continues to rewrite Aboriginal history. Let's not let him get away with this.

Dear Professor Maskell,

Despite the lack of evidence supporting Dark Emu, Bruce Pascoe is still teaching in your university. How is this possible? Why hasn't he been held accountable for rewriting Aboriginal history?

Integrity matters, and universities need to be held to a high standard. Allowing a fiction writer to teach students is propaganda and reflects badly on your institution. We ask you to take immediate action.
