An estimated 27,000 different animals are being tested on each year for cosmetics. This includes mice, rats and rabbits and it causes them pain,distress and sometimes death. 

There are 20,000 legal chemical ingredients available to the makers of cosmetics products that are considered to be safe. There is no excuse for these animals to suffer.
