On the 2nd of July 2016 the constituents of Cowper decided emphatically to send Mr Oakeshott a strong message. Mr Oakeshott chickened out facing his consitientient in the 2013 election and attempted to reenter the parliament. Cowper doesn't forget!

Mr Oakeshott claims to place community first, yet is already making plans to contest the next election (little details provided). This man has no respect for any outcome in fact hasn't really conceded in defeat. 

Mr Oakeshott has been a public servant since the age of 23 and now aged 46 hasn't actually held down a job. His current occupation is Uni student. In fact by contesting the recent election as a candidate in Cowper Mr Oakeshott claims to pocket some $65,057 from Australian tax payers for 3 weeks work. This is on top of nearly $100,000/year lifetime pension for his career in the NSW parliament.  

Mr Oakeshott claims he is struggling to pay the bills. It's about time you got a real job Rob and got your snout out of the trough.
