As a New Zealander and Australian with ties that go back hundreds of years to the 1780s and 1820s, I am dismayed by the presence of Neo-Nazis in our society.

Immigration has blessed us with a vibrant, multicultural community, and yet, there are individuals like Mr. Sewell who threaten the social fabric with their racist, xenophobic and violent ideologies. 

Our nation boasts a rich tapestry of cultures, dearly valuing the contributions that each group brings, yet the ideologies of hate aim to tear this apart.

We deport those based on criminal and terrorist associations regularly or those with criminal records. This person has both yet they are treated differently. Lets strip him of his citizenship and ship him off. He doesn't support Australia values or uphold any sort of ANZAC, as if he did he'd know thay Nazi ideologies were exactly what the diggers fought against for our countries. 

Australia has a proud, diverse heritage that should be celebrated, honored, and taught in our schools, especially regarding the First Nations people, whose culture requires greater respect and education as a foundational element of our national identity. We cannot ignore the appalling attacks against them and their heritage, which only fester further because of hate groups.

Mr. Sewell, a dual national and known Neo-Nazi agitator, has consistently incited violence, engaged in multiple assaults, and promoted hatred within our communities. Under section 35 of the Australian Citizenship Act 2007, a dual national's Australian citizenship should be automatically ceased if they engage in actions contrary to their allegiance to Australia, such as terrorism-related conduct. Mr. Sewell's actions and beliefs are in stark violation of these values, and he holds no legitimate claim to Australian citizenship.

Revoking his citizenship and deporting him back to New Zealand is not just a legal necessity but a moral one as well. It is imperative for us to uphold what makes Australia truly great—our diversity, resilience, and unity against discrimination. Such measures will ensure a safer and more accepting Australia for all its citizens.
