There are now over 350 signatures and we hope for many more by the July 7 deadline for comments on the draft CodeNext map. Encourage people to sign on your neighborhood listserve and NextDoor. The petition, signatures, and comments will be submitted to the Mayor, Council, Land Use Commissions, and City staff prior to the July 7 deadline. Many wonderful comments and reasons for signing have been posted on the petition. Please submit these comments (and more) directly on the CodeNext map comment tool. 1. Scroll to the bottom and comment in the box where is says “Please enter any general comments on the proposed zoning here.” 3. If you’re commenting about a specific neighborhood’s proposed zoning, click on that area of the map. 4. It isn't required, but you can take ownership of your comments by entering your contact information. Click “Submit.”
