Audit All Oaths & Bonds for Oregon Public Officials – No Oath, No Bond, No Authority!

The Issue

We, the undersigned People of Oregon, demand an immediate and transparent statewide audit of all public oaths of office and individual surety bonds for every city, county, and state official. Without valid oaths and bonds, these officials have no lawful authority to act, and every seat they claim is vacant.

Why This Matters:

Oregon’s Constitution (ORS 204.020) and the U.S. Constitution (Article VI, Clause 3) require every public official to swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and be bonded to protect the People from misconduct.

This is not optional—it’s the law.

Yet across Oregon:

  • Oaths are missing, improperly worded, or lack required clauses (such as defending against enemies foreign and domestic).
  • Many “oaths” are not notarized, making them legally defective.
  • Individual bonds are often missing—replaced by blanket bonds that offer no direct remedy to the People when rights are violated.

No Oath = No Office.

No Bond = No Accountability.

Without both, officials are acting under color of law, not lawful authority. Every arrest, fine, or conviction they impose is void and violates the rights guaranteed by the U.S. and Oregon Constitutions.

Our Demands:

We call on the Oregon Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Governor to:

  1. Conduct a full public audit of every city, county, and state official’s oath of office and individual surety bond.
  2. Publish all findings on an accessible public database.
  3. Immediately remove any individual from office who cannot produce a valid oath and bond.
  4. Vacate and dismiss any legal actions taken by such unauthorized actors, including refunding fines and releasing unlawfully detained individuals.

This Is About Our Rights:

Without lawful oaths and bonds, our courts, police departments, and public offices are operating as private corporations—not constitutional government. This is a violation of due process, the separation of powers, and the public trust.

It’s time to restore lawful governance to Oregon.

No Oath. No Bond. No Authority.

Sign this petition to demand an immediate audit of every public official in Oregon. Let’s take back our government and restore lawful accountability.
