It is clear to see that there is insufficient parking at Panmure Train Station. Users of the Park and Ride system are left to leave their cars on small side streets or on muddy banks in the vicinity due to a lack of parking. We need more parking and we need Auckland Transport to provide this. 

As a 19 year old female student I am unhappy to walk each day at 6pm in the dark to my car which is parked down a small side street on my own. I have recently received a parking fine for parking on dashed yellow lines within a Park and Ride car park, which I had parked in for my own peace of mind and to make me feel much safer and more at ease when returning from Britomart at night.

I feel that more parking, possibly through a multi-storey car park, would make a lot more Park and Ride users feel at ease and happier about leaving their car in Panmure for the day.
