Sondra Dockery is a Registered Nurse and loves serving and helping people. She is a wife and mother of two teen girls.  She is a dedicated member of her church where she serves on the Praise and Worship Team and the Choir. She is very active in the Memphis fitness community with local run groups.

Sondra Dockery was involved in a car accident on September 6, 2016. She was driving and looked down for a second when she looked up her car was about to rear end a minivan. She tried hitting her brakes but it was too late and therefore her car struck the minivan in the rear. When approached by Officer T. Jerry Sondra explained that she looked down for a second and when she looked up her car was striking the minivan. At no time did Sondra mention a cellphone or any object that she might have dropped this was all added by Officer T. Jerry.

Sondra Dockery had a car accident that many have each and every day on the streets of Memphis, TN and she was charged with Aggravated Assault 39-13-102 Class D Felony Reckless Driving 55-10-205. We as the citizens of Memphis, TN and Shelby County want the District Attorney General William Bond to drop all criminal charges against Sondra Dockery. If this miscarriage of justice is allowed any citizen that has an accident may face the possibility of being charged with a felony. This was a simple accident that happened when Sondra Dockery took her eyes off the road and looked down a simple distraction which is a common cause for driving accidents. Distracted driving does not fit the criteria for a Class D Felony and therefore the charges should and need to be dropped against Sondra Dockery.
