Far too long police insensitivity and brutality has been a staple in black and latino communities for years. These misdeeds throughout history have gone unpunished. We want to be protected in our communities from criminal activity, not be victimized by it from those sworn to protect and serve. The police historically have been protected from the responsibilty of acts of violence and brutality against citizens. Frankly we are tired of it. We demand justice in the murder of Eric Garner at the hands of law enforcement. It is up to the FBI and The Justice Department to do what is right. To adhere to the law, to ethics, to human decency.

We are calling upon Attorney General Eric Holder and US Attorney Loretta Lynch of the Eastern District of NY to fully investigate and bring about an indictment against Officer Daniel Pantaleo for the murder of Eric Garner. All American citizens and members of humanity should be outraged by this death and lack of justice. Let our voices be heard.
