The deadly force shooting of Tommy Le deserves a truly independent investigation/review

The deadly force shooting of Tommy Le deserves a truly independent investigation/review
The Issue
For more than three years, the Le family, the citizens of Greater Seattle, and the Vietnamese community, continue to demand justice for the wrongful shooting death of Tommy Le. The unarmed, 120 pound Burien student, was killed by two shots fired into his back by a King County Sheriff's Deputy. The fact that Tommy was shot in the back was never addressed in King County Sheriff's Office investigation(s). In addition, according to public court documents, one of the bullets appears to have been altered while in KCSO's custody.
Therefore, we respectfully call upon Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson to conduct an independent review of the deadly force shooting death of Tommy Le, and measures taken by King County Sheriff's Office to withhold information, provide misleading and false information to the public, and not protect the integrity of key evidence.
