LIVING AND DEAD DOLPHINS IN ATTICA IN ATTICA DOLPHINARIUM THERE HAS DIED SIX DOLPHINS BETWEEN YEARS 2010- 2017. 1. FOUR FIRST DEATHS: 13th of January 2015 "Greek authorities have confirmed the death of four dolphins at Attica Zoological Park after inspections at the park. The inspections were carried out after a complaint regarding a missing adult dolphin. During the above mentioned inspection, it was discovered that in addition to the death of 11 year old Gille (aka Kallia), Died in 27th of September 2013 there were three more dolphin deaths (mainly newborns) WHICH WERE KEPT IN SECRET. These dolphins were aged: 1 day, 5 days, and 2, 5 months old. The death of these four dolphins brings once again to the forefront the request of banning cetacean captivity in Greece." The three female dolphins (Premija, Chloe and the calf of Premija Leila), were part of the group of dolphins transfered and accomodated to the greek dolphinarium because of renovation constructions in the Lithouanian Sea Museum. We confirmed that one more dolphin is dead in the Attica dolphinarium, a male baby called Orion, 4 years old, the calf of Chloe. The mother was transfered back to the lithouanian dolphinarium on 13/10/2015. We don't know the causes of death but we investigate the case.
