A Message from the Cats of Silent Meow: “It’s snowing in Singapore… and it’s NOT because of Climate Change!!!"
In a land frozen by bureaucracy, four brave cats have turned accidental activists as well and have stepped forward to speak on behalf of their humans.
NUS and their lawyers, Drew & Napier, have made a critical BOO BOO — freezing the wrong amount in the bank account of their caregivers, Iris Koh and Raymond Ng!!!
The error totals S$4,085.91, a sum that may appear administrative on paper but in real life represents weeks of food, electricity bills, supplements (to manage Iris' cancer condition) and essential supplies for the household.
While this error has since been corrected, the remaining frozen balance of S$14,538.07 continues to trap the family in a state of financial paralysis.
This has now triggered the current CRISIS, placing the entire household at risk of collapse and jeopardising the livelihoods and food security of both humans and animals.
The Cats of Silent Meow state it plainly:
“This is not just a clerical error.
This is a humanitarian crisis.
Please support Iris Koh so we don’t go hungry.”
When NUS froze the account, they didn’t just freeze numbers on a screen;
they froze cat treats, meat supplies, and mama’s ability to buy kitty litter.
But the fight isn’t over.
The pride stands strong.
And today, the masks come off as we collectively MEOW:
“FEED US!!!”
