Subject: RE: Ongoing Torture Of Bandit By Scenic Rim Regional Council

Dear Erin,

One again as per The Animal Management Act S (129) I request immediate access to Bandit at least twice a day to exercise and wash him.
Bandit has now been held by the Scenic Rim Regional Council in a 1.2m cell with no sanitation, high pressure hosed twice a day, no exercise, no sunlight, no cooling or heating by your client since 11 September 2017.
He has been exposed to record heat over the last 12 months at Beaudesert.
There is no excuse for him to have not been transferred to a suitable facility or released home on compassionate grounds as we have relocated.
Bandit has been repeatedly poled, taunted with spoons, photographed, videoed along with being housed next to a Cattery.
During this period he has also been transferred on open utes.
Bandit has also been exposed to welding fumes, hundreds of stray dogs/cats and has also witnessed the ongoing destruction of hundreds of dogs at the Facility since he was seized.
I note my requests to provide him with toys has been refused and the SRRC refuse to provide any pictures of our Daughters pet.
I also note that I have had no contact with any SRRC staff in person since September 2017 and your claims of “risk to staff” and a requirement for extra security is patently absurd.

As a former QLD Police Service, QLD Corrective Service executive and a former Director NSW Attorney Generals Department  that is insulting.

The SRRC continue to breach the Animal Management Act, Animal Protection Act and the RSPCA Freedoms credo.

Regards

Paul
