Our Bandit remains with no sunlight, no visitation, no exercise, no sanitation, no bedding, no vet care, no human interaction from his Family for 12 months.
To top off the torture which is criminal animal cruelty they have him housed within 1 metre of a stinking cattery with around 30 cats.
The QLD RSPCA refuse to assist but if we did what Mayor Greg Christensens Council is doing they would charge us and run off to a Current Affair with story!
Its obvious the RSPCA need cruelty to drive their business and even though I have written to Gary Humphries RSPCA Chairman they totally ignore the cruelty.
The matter remains in QCAT and the QLD District Court.
We will not let the Council get any with this and will go to the High Court if required.
The Council have effectively delayed us getting to Hearing by throwing up requests for a non disclosure order, having it granted and then requesting it be amended as they had poor legal advice from King and Company Lawyers.
The Councils Lawyers must love the money they are making and have made no attempt to mediate the issue even though Mark Williams their Lawyer characterises himself as a Dispute Resolution expert.
We and supporters continue to visit Bandit albeit only from the outside.
Its now close to 12 months since we have been allowed to visit him and the last time we saw him was 14 October 2017.
The Council refuse to even provide photos.
This week we again requested access for a vet to check on him as the Council are breaching the QLD Animal Management Act S129 and the pathetic response to Paul is below.
We are engaging a new legal team but its expensive so for the first time in 12 months we will be asking for any small donation to our fight for Bandits freedom.
SRRC Free Bandit!!
Thankyou for everyones amazing support and a big shout out to Maree Thomas for all her great work.
Thankyou from Bandit and Family

Mr Cutbush,
I write in response to your request for an inspection of the dog.
I am instructed that an authorised person of Council has considered your request and, taking into consideration all relevant matters, including your behaviour during previous inspections, your subsequent and continued behaviour in connection with the matter, and the impact your behaviour has had on Council staff, believes it would be impracticable and unreasonable to allow you to inspect the dog at this point in time.
