Residents of West Marin are enthusiastic about asking Amazon to run a pilot Packaging Pick Up Program in Marin County.

Spreading the word is: Children For Change (C4C), the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin (EAC), and Fairfax Council Member Stephanie Hellman.

More than 500 residents of West Marin have signed the Amazon to Reuse Boxes petition in the past several weeks, pushing signatures to over 8,000 of the needed 10,000.

These signatures will be a key part of the compelling case to be made to Amazon that includes data on the environmental benefits of a reuse program, the endorsement of local city councils, and the endorsement of local businesses.

The Fairfax City Council and Muir Beach District have endorsed the initiative.
