With some Atmore schools being deemed “failing” for the third year in a row, it is time for parents and stakeholders to take a stand and demand change.  The Alabama Accountability Act means exactly what it says: holding leaders ACCOUNTABLE. 

No more excuses. No more procrastination. No more toleration of INACTION by the Escambia County Board of Education and its county administration. 

Atmore schools deserve to have the same resources as the schools on the other end of the county. It is time for our city council to step up and to do the same thing as Brewton's city council. It is time for Atmore to establish its own school system - Atmore City Schools.

Take a stand for ATMORE PRIDE. Let our VOICES be HEARD. We cannot allow a fourth year of failure by the Escambia County Board of Education. Please sign this petition to present to the Atmore City Council to ask for a resolution. Let's not waste another school year. Atmore needs its own city schools NOW.
