Get Atlantic Records to give Vio-lence the rights to reissue ‘Oppressing the masses‘

The Issue

Bay Area thrash metal band Vio-lence have released three albums over their thirty year career but today only their debut album “Eternal Nightmare” has been reissued on physical releases and available on streaming platforms. Their Second album “Oppressing The Masses” is owned by Atlantic records who put the album out and seem to have no interest in rereleasing it or doing anything with the rights to it as the label today has little to do with rock or metal. This petition serves as an open letter to Atlantic Records asking for them to turn the rights to the album to the band so they can rerelease it and put it on streaming platforms. With the album now turning 30 it seems about time that it is finally rereleased so fans can easily access it.
