Our leaders must take action now and put forth legislation to protect individuals and families in Atlanta. We the citizens of Atlanta want “Rent Control Now.” For the last few years, the rent in Atlanta has reached amounts that the average family or individuals in Atlanta can't afford. 

We have seniors, individuals with mental health issues, and families becoming homeless and displaced because of increased rent in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Alone with the rise in rent, we see crime increasing. People have nowhere to go. We have individuals working two and three jobs and they still can't afford a safe and stable home. 

All families and individuals must have a safe and stable place to call home in Atlanta. Writing and passing legislation will ensure that we have more thriving communities with happy, healthy, individuals, and families.
