It would appear that Kasim Reed and the City of Atlanta are still trying to make this work. It's even more important now than before to get behind this and show the NFL that we want a party at the Dome.

Our Atlanta Falcons are headed to the Super Bowl! As we bid farewell to the Georgia Dome this past Sunday, the final game saw the hometown team beat the Packers in dominating fashion to win the conference.

It doesn't have to be the last football "event" at the stadium, though. The Atlanta Falcons should put on a party at the Georgia Dome for fans to come watch and enjoy the atmosphere of the big game. They can put the game on the big screens and open the stadium up one final time to its fans who can't make the trip out to Houston.

Our city deserves to host the greatest party as we hopefully bring Atlanta's second ever championship home. It would be a night to remember and a fitting way to truly send the Dome out in style. Besides, who wouldn't want to lay back on the 50 yard line and watch it with fellow fans? It's not as if the turf will host another football game! Imagine the confetti falling from the Georgia Dome ceiling if the Falcons can cap off an unbelievable year!

Let's make it happen! Georgia Dome, Georgia World Congress Center Authority, Atlanta Falcons, Arthur Blank...whomever can pull the strings, let's rock the Dome one final time!
