We are a second grade class at Slater Elementary School. We are trying to help create change in our community.

Our behaviors impact the well being of our community.

1. We are wasting water.

2. We are taking animals homes away with too much construction.

3. We are throwing trash all over our community.

4. We have too much traffic which is causing air pollution.  Air pollution is bad for our young lungs. 

This is important because it is making our community look dirty and is harmful to us. We want members of our community to not throw trash on the road. The trash is hurting the animals. We want members our community to turn the water off when they aren't using it. We want members our community to carpool, use public transportation or to walk to protect the air we breathe.
