Clear the Traffic Congestion on Vikas Marg

The Issue

I live in Madhuban, East Delhi which is a pretty upmarket colony yet none of my friends from the other side of the Yamuna want to visit me because of the traffic congestion on Vikas Marg -- multiple types of vehicles, cars parked in double lanes, pedestrians crossing throughout the road. It takes 30 mins to reach from ITO bridge to Nirman Vihar Metro station - a distance of 2 kms. Real estate prices along Vikas Marg have declined because of difficulty in accessing the area. As the prospective MP from East Delhi, I would request you to resolve the traffic mess on Vikas Marg, which is the key arterial road of East Delhi.
