Since the dance studios in student union have been taken with the construction of the new building and the creation of the new spin room we have lost multiple dance studios on campus. Those who chose to workout on their own in front of the mirrors were no longer able to do so. This also limits our dance teams on campus and have had to practice in meeting rooms and was offered to practice in commons with only limited time in front of a mirror. Not to mention dancing on rugs aren’t very good for dancers as they muffle sound for step and tap dancers. Speakers aren’t accommodated for these groups either so we practice with laptop and phone speakers. If the spin room could be emptied of the bikes after every one of their classes this is one more room that everyone could use. Sign this petition to open up the third dance studio for everyone.
