Girls High School Swimming is a fall sport. MHSAA has deemed fall sports will happen - but qualified swimming as a moderate to high risk sport - primarily because it is indoors.  Chlorine has been known to kill COVID-19 and swimming is an individual sport.  Clubs all summer long have been social distancing their swim practices per USA Swimming Guidelines.  Let the girls have their swim season - these athletes can't train anywhere but a pool and once the outdoor pools close, their season could be in jeopardy.

If being indoors is a concern, they can hold their meets without spectators and while on deck, where face masks during competition.
