Athens High School grads (or anyone who wants to help)

The fate of Senior Follies hangs in the balance. The admin is using COVID as a reason to kill the tradition after over 60 years of the show being put on… since 1950!

The variety show has not happened the last two years because of the pandemic and the administration thinks it would be a good idea to just pull the plug forever.

I think that is an awful idea. This is an opportunity for seniors to work together as a class to build something that they will cherish forever. It has been a long-standing tradition at Athens High School. It would be a shame for students to lose out on such great memories and fun creative outlet. 

It is so important that this tradition continues on for students to look forward to at the end of the school year and the end of their school career before going to college or trade schools or whatever they decide next in their life.
