For years people who have modeled trains in california have been missing out on some of the most important trains run by amtrak: the surfliner, capitol corridor and san joquain! Why has no model train manufacturer made affordable cars for these trains? Because have yet to make them realize that the body that wants these cars is bigger than they think! Whats even more ridiculous is that con cor, walthers, and kato all have superliner cars going, which are not the same, but they should be able to make small adjustments to their tooling in order to create surfliners! Surfliner locomotives are already being made, we just need the cars! Surfliner cars are also being ported to other places in the united states: proof giving all the more reason to manufacture models of them! No, i'm not some cali wannabe or someone who just chose a random train to model, i have lived my whole life in san diego and i have seen hundreds of surfliner trains come and go!
