The AT&T building located at 650 Robinson Avenue and occupying an entire city block is an eyesore and has been allowed to fall into disrepair. The building and the telecommunications towers on top are visible throughout the neighborhood and at the busiest intersection in the area.

The building needs to be painted, at a minimum. But some architectural improvements would greatly improve the visual appeal of the building.

The telecommunications towers should be renovated and obscuring structures put in place to improve the aesthetics.

The private park located at the corner of University And Sixth Avenues should be opened to the public and community services should be made available onsite.

The residents and business community of Hillcrest desire that our portion America’s Finest City be as beautiful as our waterfront and parks.

Ideally, the entire block should be renovated and ground floor retail should be offered to create a welcoming and inviting space for the city and local community.
