Petition updateASYLUM FOR AMIR HAMPAY NOW! WAITING TWO YEARS IS A CRIME!OVER TWO THOUSAND PEOPLE WORLDWIDE WAITING WITH AMIR!

Humanity for All
Jun 17, 2018
Young Iranian refugee Amir Hampay has been waiting two years and another 18 days on Lesvos prison island since his release from Lesvos detention center June 1st! His request for asylum is still sleeping somewhere in a forgotten GAS
( greek asylum service!) file! His brother Arash was granted asylum a long time ago! Amir's best friends got their paper and left Lesvos as fast as they could!
Young Amir who fled the bloody Iranian Regime that killed his father and his brother, is still waiting while having been emprisoned several times and threatened by deportation!
Lawyers and Greek Asylum Service do not manage to quickly correct a GAS decision quickly taken by mistake, neglect or by simply not having read the story about a human life in danger!
EVERY LIFE MATTERS!!! EVERY LIFE WILL ALLWAYS MATTER!!!
A simple administrative gesture, not only for Amir, but for thousands of refugees, is apparently too complicated for greek asylum service authorities. And while bureaucratic desks get burried under piles of asylum files, refugees are being locked up like criminals in detention centers! In Moria detention center there have been cases of refugees having to stay locked up in a room for more than 22 hours a day! Dreams killed! Hope killed! Health destroyed! Trauma upon trauma created!
Amir's condition gets worse every day! A young men's dream of freedom being destroyed by a GAS mistake! Over two thousand people worldwide have joined AMIR in his waiting for asylum struggle and suffering!
Why is it that an " authority" cannot correct a mistake? Democracy means we have equal rights and no " authority" is GOD! GAS is not GOD and refugees RESPECT the laws written by democracy!
More than two thousand people worldwide have signed our petition and outcry to injustice: ASYLUM FOR AMIR NOW! WAITING TWO YEARS FOR ASYLUM IS A CRIME!
Like AYS Daily Digest reports:
Refugees who have already been the victims of wars and prosecutions and with many of them already in a state of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD ), are once more the victims of politics that are adopted in order to serve anything but the interests of refugees.
Our heartfelt thanks to all supporters!
