ASUCR: Call for Reelection due to Elections Malpractices

The Issue

The undergraduate body of the University of California, Riverside is calling for an ASUCR Reelection, due to the staggering evidence of malpractice from a political party and overwhelming amount of voter confusion & backlash at the elections results, due in part to the likelihood of "laptopping" during a party's campaign.

In addition, we'd like to call into question the validity of these results, due to the fact that the ASUCR Judicial Branch failed to meet quorum when making appeals decisions, effectively allowing 2 students to decide the fate of 18,000.

If this reelection is granted, it would take place solely at one location (the Bell Tower) and would have proper regulation by the Associated Students of UC Riverside, preventing the possibility of coercion and allowing for students to make decisions for themselves.
