Since I have been a resident here, Kelly has been known to extort student residents for every penny she can possibly receive. Myself, and a vast amount of the students here have encountered problems with her. She is a very difficult person to deal with as she is very condescending, passive-aggressive, and hates being wrong. She will ignore emails and genuine criticism when she receives them, and if she responds she tends to ignore important pieces and only respond to what benefits her. People will ask to speak to her and she will be sitting there on her phone doing nothing and say she is in a meeting. Since she has been promoted to manager, the Grove has significantly gotten worse and many freedoms have been lost, such as being able to allow friends into the apartment complex on the weekend. She will assess random fines and fees to residents whenever she pleases when kids need that money for food, gas, etc. She has been on a tyrannical power trip for years and it must be put to a stop. Myself and many residents have signed at the Grove would not have signed here if we knew that she was like this. The Grove has potential to be a fantastic place to live but that will not happen until she is replaced with someone who actually cares.
