SUPPORT CJCP!

We are parents and Franklin Township residents whose children attend the Central Jersey College Prep Charter School (CJCP), an award-winning, nationally recognized public school here in town. CJCP provides equitable educational opportunities for our township students, which is why so many of us choose to make Franklin Township our home. CJCP was authorized to enroll 96 students in Kindergarten until the school year 2021-22. As a result of unacceptable political pressure, the number of Kindergarten students was down to 72 for this school year and will continue to go down to 48 starting the school year 2022-23. This enrollment structure reduces opportunities for new families to join the CJCP community despite almost 400 applications being received every year for Kindergarten. It puts the school we love in jeopardy.

As voters and residents of Franklin Township, we are signing this petition to demand that our elected officials support CJCP's petition to the New Jersey Department of Education to continue to enroll 96 students moving forward. We believe that education decisions about our children should not be politized. The future of our children depends on it.
