Aspire School 7th Grade ICT Teacher Must Be Replaced

Subject: Request for Immediate Replacement of the ICT Teacher

Dear Aspire Scool Administration,

We, the undersigned parents of Year 7 students, are writing to formally express our concerns regarding the ICT teacher. It has come to our attention that the current teaching practices in ICT classes are highly inadequate, raising serious concerns about the quality of education our children are receiving in this crucial subject. The specific issues we have observed include:

Lack of Effective Teaching – Students report that there is no structured instruction during ICT lessons. Instead of following a proper curriculum, they are left to do whatever they choose during class time without proper guidance from the teacher.
Unfair Treatment of Students – Those students who have expressed a genuine desire to learn and requested proper instruction have reportedly been subjected to negative treatment. This includes being unfairly downgraded on their assessments and receiving minus house points, which is unacceptable.
Unprofessional Conduct in Assessments – The mid-term report issued by this teacher contained comments that were nearly identical to those provided by the Mathematics teacher, with only minor paraphrasing. This raises questions about the teacher’s effort and commitment to evaluating students fairly and individually.

As a private school, Aspire School holds a responsibility to provide high-quality education, and we, as parents, are paying substantial tuition fees to ensure that our children receive the best possible instruction. ICT is an essential subject that equips students with digital literacy and other critical skills needed in today’s technology-driven world. The current situation is failing our children in this regard.

In light of the above, we strongly urge the school administration to take immediate action by replacing the current ICT teacher with a competent educator who is committed to delivering quality instruction. We trust that the school will recognize the importance of addressing this matter promptly for the benefit of our children’s education.

We request a meeting with the administration at the earliest convenience to discuss this issue further. We look forward to your prompt response and to seeing the necessary changes implemented.

Sincerely,

(Names of the Concerned Parents are listed in the signatures of this petition)
