Imagine you are in Multiplayer in high Challenger/Pro League. You are in a room in order to play a race with your 982 Porsche 959, which is very OP at that rank. Suddenly, a very common, 100 kmph faster R8 Special Edition pops up and beats you, while crushing your hopes to get in Elite League. And if you don’t have any other good cars, the best you can achieve is 1700 rating. 

In 1000-1600 Multiplayer, no car has a chance of beating an R8 SE, except for the quite rare SLK 55 AMG Special Edition and the Camaro SS. It is a shame that only one car can get you to high leagues at ranks 900-1600. Below that rank, there is the DeZir which has DOUBLED in price, from 180 to 375 tokens and can get you to very low Champion League with a lot of skill (and luck). Above that rank, the Vulcan and Apollo IE are the best cars, but many people do not have them. I do have a 1747 Vulcan and a 1684 Apollo IE. I asked a friend of mine what his MP rating was, and he told me that he quit MP and started focusing on TLEs because of the R8 Special Edition. He did not have the DeZir, Vulcan, Corvette GS, Apollo IE, Devel, SLK SE, Hommage, Camaro, only a mistuned F-150 and a 959. I felt really bad for him, and I chose to start a petition to permanently remove the Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition from Asphalt 8. If they want to Gameloft can give the owners a huge token reward. This move will make Multiplayer more popular and everyone will play on it again. Please sign and share the petition to change Gameloft’s decision to be able to reach high Multiplayer leagues only with a specific OP car that everyone has now.
