There is never any excuse for abuse and or neglect. BLM agents and hired contractors chose to drive cattle during the birthing time knowing full well this would cause distress to baby cattle, their mothers and the herd. Some of these cattle were driven so hard they fell and died during a time when the herd is at it's weakest.

As soon as BLM agents began the seize they became legally and morally responsible for the treatment and welfare of these animals.

Instead of showing that responsibility they even went so far as to dispatch 2 bulls while they were in corrals and could not be a danger to anyone. Worse yet is the fact they didn't even take the time to do it humanely requiring as many as 5 shots while one of the bulls suffered and died a needless and inhumane death.

No person or agency is above the law, investigate both the BLM agents and the hired contractors for this inhumane treatment.
