Ann Evans is the owner of Sweet Dreams Bully Rescue. She also uses the name Sweet Dreams Rescue. Her rescue is not a 5013C and is not believed to be registered in the state of Texas as a non-profit. Ann lives on 5000 acres of land. We allege Ann has deceived many people into thinking she was pulling dogs from the shelters and finding them good homes through her rescue. In the summer of 2014 several people started noticing that Ann's activities were questionable. Ann was pulling A huge amount dogs out of the shelters from all over the state of Texas, and people became suspicious. Police were called several times to go to Ann's and check on the dogs, but nothing was done. It is alleged by many, that dogs in Ann's care were ill and not being cared for properly. Several people reclaimed their dogs from Ann when these allegations came to light. As time went on more allegations began to surface. Ann was placed on Do Not Adopt Lists and Do not Foster lists. It is Alleged Ann starting pulling dogs under reputable rescue's names, representing herself as a member of said rescue throughout Texas, and other states such as Tennessee and Oklahoma without the permission or knowledge of these rescues. The dogs she pulled are considered missing. Ann does not have records of any of the dogs. It should be noted that Ann also has an extensive criminal record. She is a compulsive liar, and you can't believe a word that comes out of her mouth. My own dog was in the care of Ann, Ann has given me four different stories on what happened to her, and lied to the police on several occasions. When I filed a complaint against Ann in October, I informed the Sheriff's office about her activities but nothing has been done to stop her from pulling more dogs, and no investigation has been done to look for the Missing Dogs. Currently we believe there are over 100 dogs missing from Ann's care over the last 6 months. We don't know if she is flipping dogs, selling them to fighters/labs or killing the dogs. Ann has admitted that several dogs have run off her property, because the property is not fenced in. There is a pit on her property where the bodies of dead cows are thrown, and there are also dog bones in.  Ann showed the investigator a dog's bones in the pit, she told Investigator Jolly she was mine, but Ann has lied several times to the police. There is no way to tell what dog was in the pit. Ann has collected thousands of dollars in pledges from caring individuals that pledge money for a rescue to take them out of the shelter, provide any care they may need and foster them until they find a loving home.  There are numerous people from all over the country that have pledged and paid Ann for care of these animals through her pay-pal and through her rescue's pay pal. There is no record of what happened to these dogs. We know Ann has dumped many dogs back in the shelter. We know many dogs have run off her property and ended up back in the shelter. One dog, Amanda was found in a shelter in horrible condition after being at Ann's, Amanda had been adopted from a high-kill shelter and given to Ann in good conscious that Ann would find her a good home! Ann would not pay the fee to get Amanda back out of the shelter and ordered her to be euthanized. We Allege there are over 100 dogs missing from Ann's care. As of right now the only charges being considered on Ann, are for my dog, because I had paid Ann for her care, and it was proven Ann did not provide her the care I paid for. This falls under a misdemeanor charge as it was just under $300. Another example of what Ann has done, she pulled a dog out of the shelter under a $125 pledge from a caring person. Ann returned the dog to the shelter the next day and did not tell the woman the dog was returned and collected her money. Many of the people who have pledged to Ann do not know what happened to the dogs they gave her money for. Ann has lied to many people about adoptions that we allege never happened. Some dogs that were lucky enough to make it out of Ann's care were found to be malnourished, grossly underweight, covered in ticks and fleas, and several were ill. Some had Erlichia and others were sent to the rescues or adopters extremely ill. We do not have an exact amount of people that have pledged to Ann, but through social media we are sending out the information for them to come forward and call Investigator Jolly of the Comanche County Sheriff's Office. In conclusion, we want a full investigation into Ann Evans activities. She has deceived the public by accepting pledges for dogs that came into her care, and she can't explain what happened to the dogs. We want to know if she is flipping, selling or killing these dogs. We allege she has forged vet records and 5013c documents and represented herself as an intake coordinator or member for many different rescues. These dogs are loved by people all over the country. This has been a very emotional and upsetting experience for us, those that had dogs in her care and people from all over the country who donated money for the care of these dogs. Please, we are asking a full investigation be conducted to find these dogs, and what Ann has done with the thousands of dollars in pledges she has collected.
