reversal of undispensed cash in failed ATM transactions

The Issue

I felt robbed when my bank withheld my own money from me. Being a SBI customer I had visited an SBI ATM to withdraw Rs. 3000 on 23/05/2019.This amount was deducted from my balance (rec'd an SMS alert to confirm), however no cash was dispensed. At the same time i have registered a complaint with the SBI customer care and they said it will resolve within 7 days but till now the problem is not solved, when i asked the customer care about the same I was casually informed that CLAIM RAISED ON 28/05/19 WITH ATM BRANCH. COMPLAINT WILL BE RESOLVED WITHIN 5 WORKING DAY. So now again i have wait for 5 more days. I such situation how can we trust anything more form India’s so called largest bank SBI.Even if the amount is not a huge but i would prefer to close down my account from such bank.

The RBI needs to change their policy wherein banks are mandated to take responsibility to provide financial assistance to their customers on a priority basis in such cases. Moreover, the TAT for resolving such issue should be within 24h.
