My name is Rochelle Abercrombie boldly speaking out about all tragedy that keep happening in apartment complexes without surveillance cameras. There are no words to express the loss of my only brother Ronald and to lose my only son, Calvion 21 years later the same exact way. His life was taken inside of a gated apartment complex located in far North Dallas with no witnesses and there was no security cameras. My brother's murder happened in a gated apartment complex suburban area west of LA.  It is still very hard today to believe no one witnessed these crimes of our loved ones. My son and my brother lives were taken for no apparent reasons and no motives to be determined. Unfortunately both of their cases are consider cold cases.

I am grieving mother speaking out so that no other families will experience the horrifying grief of losing a loved one in apartment complexes. I am starting this petitions hoping to get enough signatures to pass a law that all apartment complexes must have a working high quality surveillance cameras system place invulnerable spots on the property, at all entrance and exits.

This would stop persistent repeated crimes such as murders,potential burglars,robberies,in-home break-ins, vandalism abductions etc. Having a High-Quality Videos System in apartment complexes will offer evidence for investigation, criminal activities happening around the apartment complexes.It can help identify anyone and mainly it will provide visual evidence for the police investigation. Security is having a peace of mind that someone is watching when there is nobody around and it will keep your family and property safe from criminals.
