The Issue

Please ask Warner Bros Discovery to preserve Building 131, as it is a historical site where  it once housed the iconic Looney Tunes animation team. To erase this building shows that the studio has no regard for its legacy and we want to let them know that the public demands that we want it preserved and respected.

Building 131 has been around since the 1930s, where during its 1930-1969 run, it birthed classics like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, creating over 1,000 shorts and acquiring 10 Academy Awards. The demolition reflects Warner Bros. Discovery’s shifting priorities to the production of HBO shows and many other 12 active productions in 2024 (Variety).

From shelving projects for tax write offs such as "Coyote vs Acme) to removing their entire library of old Looney Tunes cartoons are examples of the disregard the studio has for their IPs and we need to let them know that the public will not stand for it.
