Ask Texas To Respect Online Learning And Stop Treating Virtual Graduates Disparately
The Issue
We are aware of the Texas Eastern District Court Federal Case captioned Locke v. Rivera, et al (4:2022cv00256)
We are appalled and disappointed by the biased and outdated position taken by the Texas Board Of Legal Examiners (TBLE) and its members regarding virtual learning.
We support Mr. Locke in his effort to cause the TBLE and its members to treat virtual learners fairly. Stop denying virtual learners the opportunities they have earned by graduating and becoming licensed to practice law in other United States jurisdictions.
We will support Mr. Locke all the way to the United States Supreme Court, if necessary. Virtual Education is real education. Licenses prove that. It is time for Texas Bias to be declared unconstitutional.
