March 28, 2024 update:

Hello to everyone!

We wanted to extend our most heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported getting attention on these horses.  The operator has apparently moved all of their horses and now we need Santa Clara County Animal Services to track and ensure the health and safety of these horses.  We will be following the efforts of the various animal control agencies and a national animal rights organization in tracking where these horses went and what efforts are being made to ensure their well-being.

To that end this petition has been changed to asking animal control in each of the counties where these horses may be to do welfare checks and to find Star, the draft horse with the docked tail, so animal control can make sure she is getting treatment and pain medication for the  "severe osteoarthritis of the thoracolumbar vertebrae" that the attending vet suspects she has.
