I've always enjoyed being part of the Hack Club community, where creativity, collaboration, and individuality reign supreme. A while back, I had the joy and honor of designing a profile picture (pfp) for @omellete, one of the vibrant members of our community. It was more than just a digital creation—it was a reflection of their unique personality and a token of our shared experiences.

However, recently @omellete decided to change their pfp to something else. While I understand the need for change and self-expression, I can't help but feel a pang of disappointment. Creating that image was a labor of love and a testament to our bond within Hack Club. It was a staple in our Slack channel, a beacon that countless members, including myself, have come to associate with @omellete.

Restoring their original pfp is not just about an image. It's about preserving a piece of our community's history and celebrating the artistic contributions that each of us brings. I believe that in reverting to the original image, we honor the spirit of Hack Club—a spirit of shared creativity, collaboration, and collective identity.

Here's why this matters: Every avatar on our Slack is a piece of art that adds to the mosaic of our digital community. Changing it back to the original is a small yet meaningful action that reinforces the value of artistic collaboration and remembrance. Let’s return to a time where our shared history isn't just in memories but reflected in the avatars we see every day.

Please join me in asking @omellete to consider bringing back the profile picture that we all hold dear. Sign this petition to support the restoration of a community creation that sparked joy and connection among us all.
