Thousands of horses are abused, injured and killed every year for the antiquated bloodsport of horse racing.

These magnificent, sentient animals are whipped, drugged, confined, objectified, and trafficked. They would never consent to running in a race that has the real risk of sustaining life-ending injuries.

Additional untold thousands of racehorses considered to be spent, old, or useless are also slaughtered annually. This includes broodmares- many of them are pregnant when they end up in the slaughter pipeline.

PLEASE ask Netflix to stop filming the documentary "Race to the Kentucky Derby." Racing is nothing more than glorifying animal abuse and the killing of horses.
